On July 3, from 4 to 10 p.m., Downtown Cary Park will transform into a bustling hub of family-friendly excitement. This free event promises plenty of fun, featuring delicious food trucks and a special screening of the classic movie, Top Gun.

Families can engage in various activities from 4 to 8 p.m., including a cool Aquarena setup complete with misters, water blasters, reusable balloons, and mini splash pools. For those seeking a thrill, a VR flight simulator will also be available to give participants a taste of aerial adventure.

To add to the fun, attendees can join in a game of Spikeball on the Frantz Square Lawn or fly Air Gliders and Stomp Rockets on the Great Lawn, both from 4 to 7 p.m. Promising a festive atmosphere, the evening will culminate in a screening of Top Gun at 8:30 p.m., ensuring a perfect family outing.

The Grand Celebration Continues: July 4 Extravaganza

The following day, July 4, will see the continuation of Independence Day festivities at the Koka Booth Amphitheatre starting at 3:30 p.m. This performance-packed day is free to enter, inviting families to enjoy live music, entertainment, and even a message from Cary's Mayor.

The North Carolina Symphony will highlight the celebrations with a performance featuring patriotic classics that are sure to resonate with all ages.
