On September 6, 2025, from 9 to 11 a.m., youth players in the greater Triangle area have a fantastic opportunity to dive into the exciting world of Ultimate Frisbee at DISCover Ultimate Day. This free event, organized by USA Ultimate in collaboration with local organizations, caters to young athletes aged 11 to 18, serving as an ideal introduction for those looking to learn a new, energetic sport.
A Fun Invitation to Youth Athletes
Ultimate Frisbee is more than just a game; it’s a unique fusion of athleticism and sport diplomacy, emphasizing teamwork and sportsmanship. At DISCover Ultimate Day, participants will discover what makes Ultimate Frisbee special. They will engage in hands-on training where they’ll be taught the basics of the game, from throwing and catching to understanding team movement on the field.

The event will take place simultaneously at two locations: Piney Wood Park in Durham and Pleasant Park in Apex, making it accessible to many parts of the community.
