This free event runs from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and features various activities designed to educate and inspire. The festival will take place at the Jordan Tailrace, directly beneath the dam, where participants can engage in birdwatching, explore crafts, and visit educational booths that will illuminate the fascinating world of bald eagles.
The festival is family-friendly and includes opportunities for all ages to learn about these magnificent birds. With at least 25 nesting pairs in the area, attendees can set their sights on learning more about their local avian neighbors as well as enjoying the beauty of Jordan Lake’s natural landscape.
